Qwik Mail is Clodura’s lightweight email tool for moments when you need to send a targeted message to one or a handful of recipients—without setting up a full sequence. It’s ideal for quick follow-ups, one-off outreach, or reaching out to a lead you’ve just spoken with. Qwik Mail gives you the same rich composition tools available in sequences—including templates, AI Writer, and mapword personalization—just without the overhead of a full campaign setup.

Getting There

Navigate to Cadence → Qwik Mail in the top navigation bar to open the Qwik Mail composer.

Composing Your Email

The Qwik Mail composer collects everything needed to send a polished, personalized email in one screen.
1

Set Your Recipient

In the To field, type the recipient’s email address directly, or choose a contact from your existing contacts list. Qwik Mail is designed for small sends—use sequences for bulk outreach.
2

Choose a Template (Optional)

Use the Select Email Template dropdown to load a pre-built template. Selecting a template auto-fills the subject and body with your saved content, which you can then customize before sending. If you’re composing from scratch, leave this field empty.
3

Configure Tracking and Compliance Options

Two checkboxes let you control how Qwik Mail behaves after sending:
  • Email Me When Read — Check this to receive a real-time notification the moment the recipient opens your email.
  • Add Unsubscribe Link — Check this to automatically append an unsubscribe link to the bottom of your email, giving recipients a compliant way to opt out of future messages.
4

Write Your Subject Line

Enter your email subject in the Subject field. You can personalize the subject line using mapwords—dynamic placeholders that automatically substitute real contact data when the email is sent:
MapwordReplaced With
FirstNameThe recipient’s first name
LastNameThe recipient’s last name
CompanyNameThe recipient’s company name
TitleThe recipient’s job title
For example, a subject line like Quick question for you, {{FirstName}} will render as Quick question for you, Sarah for a contact named Sarah.
5

Add CC and BCC Recipients

  • CC (Carbon Copy): Add recipients who should receive a copy of the email and who are visible to all other recipients. Use CC to keep stakeholders or colleagues informed.
  • BCC (Blind Carbon Copy): Add recipients who should receive a copy but remain hidden from all other recipients. BCC is useful when you need to loop in someone discreetly.
6

Write Your Email Content

Draft your email in the Email Content area. The editor gives you several tools to enhance your message:
  • AI Writer: Click the AI Writer option in the editor toolbar to generate or improve email content using AI. See the AI Writer guide for full details on inputs and credit costs.
  • Mapwords: Use the same mapwords available in the subject line (FirstName, LastName, CompanyName, Title) anywhere in the body to personalize at scale even for small sends.
  • Links and Images: Insert hyperlinks and images directly in the editor to support your message with visual or reference content.

Saving and Sending

Once your email is composed, you have two options:
  • Save as Draft — Click Save as Draft to preserve your work without sending. Drafts are stored in the Draft folder and can be retrieved, edited, and sent later.
  • Send — Click Send to transmit the email immediately to your recipient(s).

Managing Your Qwik Mail Folders

Qwik Mail organizes your emails into three folders, giving you a clear view of everything you’ve sent or saved.

Sent Emails

Contains every email you’ve sent using Qwik Mail. Each entry shows the email ID, subject line, sent date, and delivery status. You can delete individual emails or mark them with a star for quick reference later.

Draft

Stores work-in-progress emails you’ve saved but not yet sent. Each draft shows the subject line and the date it was saved. You can open any draft to continue editing it, or delete drafts you no longer need.

Starred Emails

A curated folder for emails you’ve flagged as important. Starred emails display the email ID, subject line, status, and sent date. You can unstar or delete entries at any time.
