People Search is Clodura AI’s core prospecting engine, giving you access to a database of over 600 million professional contacts. You narrow the list using a dedicated filter panel on the left side of the screen, then work with the matching results on the right. Filters span every dimension of a prospect’s identity — personal location, job title, seniority, the company they work for, the technologies that company uses, and even real-time buying signals. Once you find the right people, you can reveal their contact details one at a time or in bulk, add them to lists or cadences, and export to CSV, all without leaving the page. /
1

Open the Search menu

Click Search in the top navigation bar.
2

Select People Search

Choose People Search from the dropdown. The filter panel loads on the left and the results panel appears on the right.
3

Switch views quickly

Use the downward arrow on the People Search dropdown (top left) to switch to Company Search, revisit Recent Searches, or load a Saved Search without re-applying every filter manually.

Filter Panel Overview

The filter panel is divided into five groups. You can mix and match filters across all groups — every combination runs as a single query when you click Search. At the very top of the panel sits a single text field that searches across both People Name and Company Name simultaneously. Use it for a broad first pass before narrowing down with the grouped filters below.

I. People Info Filters

These filters target the individual rather than their employer.

Name

Enter a full or partial name and press Enter. The filter accepts first name, last name, or a combination.

LinkedIn Link

Paste a full LinkedIn profile URL to locate one specific person directly by their public profile.

Location — Country / State / City

Three separate multi-select dropdowns filter by where the person lives or works. Select multiple values in any field to broaden geographic coverage.

Preferred People (toggle)

When enabled, results are filtered to match your saved sales persona preferences. Configure preferences under Settings → Preferences.

II. Job and Title Filters

Job Title

Type an exact or partial title and press Enter. You can apply several titles simultaneously to capture varied nomenclature (e.g., “VP of Sales” and “Head of Sales”).

Seniority Level

Select from predefined levels: President, Founder, Chairman, Head, CXO, Vice President, Director, Manager, Engineer, Executive, or Program Engineer.

Functional Level

Filter by the tactical area the person operates in, such as Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, or Engineering.

III. Company and Financial Filters

These parameters define the organization a contact works for.

Company Name / Website

Enter the company’s name or its domain URL to focus results on contacts at a specific organization.

Industry

Select one or more industries from the dropdown to target a vertical (e.g., Healthcare, SaaS, Manufacturing).

Size

Choose predefined employee-count ranges to match your ideal company size profile.

Revenue

Select revenue ranges that align with the financial scale of your target accounts.

Funding

Filter by funding round type (e.g., Venture, Angel, Seed) and optionally set a date range to find companies that raised capital within a specific window.

Company Location Filters

/

Country / State / City

Three dropdowns filter by the company’s physical headquarters location, independent of the person’s own location.

Include Office Locations (toggle)

On: Returns contacts from all office locations — headquarters and branches. Off: Returns contacts from the main headquarters only.

IV. Technology, Product, and Signal Filters

Product & Service

Narrow by whether the company sells Products, Services, or integrated Solutions.

Technology Parameter

Filter by the specific tools and technologies a company is confirmed to use — ideal for competitive displacement plays or ecosystem-based selling.

Website Keywords

Enter keywords that appear on a company’s public website to surface highly relevant matches.

Buyer Intent

Show only prospects whose companies are actively researching topics related to your offering. Requires Buyer Intent to be configured — see the Buyer Intent guide.

Hiring Intent

Surface companies that have open roles right now. Active hiring often signals growth and an increased likelihood of conversion.

Advanced Job Posting Filter

Search for companies whose job postings mention specific technologies or products (e.g., “Salesforce”, “Python”, “AWS”) to find accounts where your solution is already relevant.

Direct Dial Present

Filter to contacts that already have a direct dial number available in the database, reducing the need to use phone credits.

V. Advanced Search and Exclusion Filters

Suppressions

Upload a list of websites, emails, or contact names to either exclude those contacts from results or enrich your existing records with additional data. See Suppression Lists.

Exclude Viewed People (toggle)

Hides contacts you have already unlocked in previous sessions.

Exclude Emailed People (toggle)

Hides contacts you have already contacted via email through a cadence.

Saving Searches

After you configure a set of filters you want to reuse, click the Save Search button at the bottom of the filter panel. Your saved searches are accessible any time by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the People Search label and selecting Saved Searches. This is particularly useful for territory-based searches, weekly prospecting routines, or any combination of filters you run repeatedly.

Reading Search Results

The results table appears to the right of the filter panel. The top bar shows three counters: All (total database matches), Saved People (contacts you have already unlocked), and Selected (currently checked rows).

Name & Title

The person’s full name, typically hyperlinked to their detail page, with their job title and seniority listed below.

Email

Masked until unlocked. Clicking the masked address initiates a single-contact unlock and reveals the verified email.

Mobile No. via Partner

Shows the status of an available mobile phone number. The system attempts to find and verify numbers from over 12 integrated data partners.

Company

Company name (hyperlinked to the Company Profile), with the industry or sector shown below.

Org Chart

Click to view the organizational hierarchy of the contact’s company — reporting structures, related executives, and key roles.

Size

Company size expressed as a predefined employee-count range.

Person Location

Country, state, and city for the individual contact.

Company Location

Primary headquarters location of the company.

Source

Indicates whether the record originated from Clodura, LinkedIn, or Sales Navigator.

Date Added

The date the record was first added to your data.

Unlocking Contacts

Single Contact Unlock

Click the masked email address in the Email column, or click the Show Details button in the row’s Actions column. Clodura queries 20+ data providers and returns the verified email and phone number. Credit consumption varies by provider.
Credits are only consumed when contact information is successfully retrieved. If a provider does not return a result, you are not charged for that provider.

Bulk Unlock (Verify Emails)

1

Select contacts

Check the boxes next to the contacts you want to unlock. Use the Select button in the top bar to select all records on the current page at once.
2

Click Verify Emails

Click the Verify Emails button in the top control bar. This is the primary bulk-unlock action.
3

Monitor progress

For batches of more than 100 contacts, hover over the Show Verification Status circle icon in the navbar to track progress in real time.
Bulk unlock is subject to a Fair Usage Policy (FUP). If you see a remaining-unlock-limit warning while you still have credits, the daily FUP limit has been reached. Access resets daily.

Actions After Unlocking

Once a contact’s details are revealed, the Actions column updates with the following options:
  • Add to List / Add to Cadence: Assign the contact to an outreach list or drop them directly into an active cadence sequence.
  • Quick Email: Compose and send an email to the contact directly from the results page.
  • Make a Call: If a dialer integration is enabled, call the contact from within the interface. You can also add call disposition notes.
  • Export to CSV: Select one or more unlocked contacts and click Export to download their data. By default, only contacts with a Verified email confidence level are included. Check Add Guessed in the export dialog to include guessed or not-found emails.
To avoid re-exporting the same contacts, enable the Exclude Exported People toggle in the Advanced filters. Use Filter Exported People with a date range to audit past exports.

The Org Chart

Every contact row includes an Org Chart link. Clicking it opens a visual representation of that company’s reporting structure, showing where the contact sits, who their peers are, and which senior leaders oversee their department. Use the org chart to identify the best entry point into an account or to map multiple stakeholders for a multi-threaded outreach strategy.

Saved People View

Contacts you unlock automatically move to the Saved People view, accessible from the top control bar. In this view you can:
  • Filter saved contacts by Email Confidence (Verified, Not Found).
  • Toggle Include Added From LinkedIn to segment LinkedIn-sourced records.
  • Toggle Exclude CRM People to suppress contacts already in your integrated CRM.
  • Use Filter by Unlock Date to focus on recently acquired leads.

Frequently Asked Questions

Apply your filters and click Search to run them. Above the results panel, click Save Search and give the search a name. To retrieve it, click the dropdown arrow on the People Search button and select Saved Searches.
No. If you attempt to unlock a contact that you have already unlocked and that record still exists in your Saved People tab, the platform recognizes the duplicate and does not deduct additional credits.
Only contacts with a Verified email confidence status consume download credits. Guessed or not-found emails are not counted. Downloading the same contact a second time also does not consume an additional credit.
By default, the export includes only verified contacts. To also include guessed and not-found emails, check the Add Guessed box in the Export CSV dialog before downloading.
The Intent Filter surfaces companies that are actively researching solutions similar to yours based on third-party behavioral data. Use it to identify low-hanging sales opportunities — prospects who are further along in the buying journey and more likely to convert. For a full guide, see Buyer Intent.
There are two paths. First, Clodura’s own Direct Dial Present filter surfaces contacts that already have a direct dial in the database — these are free to view when you unlock a contact. Second, you can use Partner Search (NumberNexus) to query additional data partners for a phone number; this carries a separate per-contact cost. See Phone Numbers for the full guide.
Enabling this toggle hides all contacts you have already unlocked in previous sessions, so your visible results contain only fresh, unworked leads.
Clodura’s database is refreshed every 60 days. If a contact updates their LinkedIn profile, the change is captured in the next 60-day update cycle. You can also use the Clodura Chrome extension to retrieve up-to-date data from LinkedIn or Sales Navigator in real time.
