Clodura.AI’s Zoho CRM integration uses OAuth 2.0 to securely authorize access to your Zoho account. Once connected, you can push qualified prospects and their associated company records from Clodura.AI’s People Search into Zoho CRM — either as Contacts or Leads — without downloading a CSV. The complete setup process requires three sequential steps: Authorization, Field Mapping, and Activation.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:
  • An active Clodura.AI account with CRM integration access.
  • An active Zoho CRM account. Zoho offers a free tier and multiple paid editions — all support the OAuth integration.
  • Zoho CRM administrator permissions, or at minimum the ability to authorize third-party applications and create/update Contacts, Leads, and Accounts records.

Step 1 — Authorize Zoho CRM in Clodura.AI

Zoho uses a secure OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. You do not need to generate or copy any API keys manually.
1

Open CRM Integration settings

In Clodura.AI, navigate to Settings → CRM Integration. Each supported CRM appears as a card with its current status.
2

Click Authorize on the Zoho CRM card

Locate the Zoho CRM card — it initially shows a Disconnected status. Click the Authorize button.
3

Review the Zoho permissions page

Your browser redirects to Zoho’s authorization page. Zoho displays the permissions Clodura.AI is requesting, which include:
  • Accounts — read your basic profile information.
  • CRM — perform create, read, update, and delete operations on CRM modules; manage organization data, account data, and full user data access.
4

Grant access

Check the confirmation box that reads “I allow Clodura.AI to access the above data from my Zoho account.” Then click Accept.
5

Return to Clodura.AI

Zoho redirects you back to Clodura.AI. The Zoho CRM card now shows a green Connected status tag. Proceed immediately to Field Mapping.
You must check the authorization confirmation checkbox and click Accept for the integration to succeed. Skipping this step causes the OAuth redirect to fail and leaves the card in a Disconnected state.

Step 2 — Map Fields

Field mapping defines how Clodura.AI’s source data is written into Zoho CRM objects. Zoho’s integration supports three mapping tabs: Company Fields (Zoho Accounts), Contact Fields (Zoho Contacts), and Lead Fields (Zoho Leads). Click the Mapping button on the Zoho CRM card to open the Field Mapping modal.

Company Fields → Zoho Accounts

The Company Fields tab maps organization-level data to Zoho Account records:

Lead Fields → Zoho Leads

Click Next again to reach the Lead Fields tab. These fields populate Zoho Lead records when you choose the Lead record type at export time:

No two Clodura.AI fields may be mapped to the same Zoho destination field within a single tab. Custom field mapping — adding Zoho fields not available in the dropdown lists — is not supported.
Modal navigation controls:
  • Next — advance to the next tab.
  • Back — return to the previous tab.
  • Reset — restore all fields on the current tab to their default values.
  • Save — save the complete mapping configuration and close the modal.
  • Close — discard unsaved changes and exit.

Step 3 — Enable the Integration

After saving your field mapping, return to the Zoho CRM card in Settings → CRM Integration and switch the Enable toggle to ON. This activates the integration and makes the Export To CRM button available in Clodura.AI search results. The Zoho CRM card shows three controls at all times:
  • Status Tag — displays Connected (green checkmark) or Disconnected.
  • Mapping button — open and update field mapping at any time.
  • Enable Toggle — turn the integration on or off without losing your authorization or mapping settings.
If you need to temporarily stop pushing data to Zoho, switch the Enable toggle OFF. Your authorization and field mapping are preserved, so re-enabling takes only a single click.

Pushing Contacts to Zoho CRM

Once the integration is active, export prospects from Clodura.AI’s People Search directly into Zoho CRM.
1

Search for contacts

Run a people search in Clodura.AI and apply your filters to identify target prospects.
2

Select contacts

Use the checkboxes in the results grid to select one or more contacts.
3

Click Export To CRM

Click the Export To CRM button. The Export To Zoho CRM modal opens, confirming the number of contacts selected and noting that each contact’s associated company will also be transferred.
4

Select the record type

Use the Record Type dropdown to choose whether each contact should be created as a Contact or a Lead in Zoho CRM.
5

Assign an owner

Use the Assign To dropdown to select the Zoho CRM user who will own the newly created records.
6

Confirm the export

Click Ok to start the transfer. Click Close to cancel without exporting.
Selecting Contact creates the record in Zoho’s Contacts module, linked to an Account. Selecting Lead creates the record in Zoho’s Leads module, where it can be converted to a Contact and Account through Zoho’s standard lead-conversion process.

Export Confirmation and Verification

After the export completes, Clodura.AI notifies you through two channels:

In-App Notification

A notification appears within Clodura.AI confirming that the records were transferred successfully.

Email Notification

An email confirmation is sent to your registered address once the records are live in Zoho CRM.
Log in to Zoho CRM and check the Contacts (or Leads) and Accounts modules to confirm the new records appear with the field values defined in your mapping.
Exporting the same contacts to Zoho multiple times counts as only a single download-credit usage in Clodura.AI. Use the Exclude Exported Contacts filter in advanced search to avoid re-sending records already present in Zoho CRM.
