Clodura.AI’s Pipedrive integration lets you push qualified prospects and their associated organization data from Clodura.AI’s People Search directly into Pipedrive — without exporting to CSV first. The connection is established using your Pipedrive Personal API Token, which you copy from your Pipedrive account and paste into Clodura.AI’s settings. The full setup follows three sequential steps: API Configuration, Field Mapping, and Activation.

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure you have:
  • An active Clodura.AI account with CRM integration access.
  • A Pipedrive account. If you don’t have one, you can register at pipedrive.com/en/register. Both trial and paid Pipedrive accounts provide access to API tokens.
  • Your Pipedrive Personal API Token (retrieved in Step 1 below).

Step 1 — Retrieve Your Pipedrive API Token

Pipedrive generates a unique Personal API Token for every account. You need this token to authenticate Clodura.AI’s connection to your Pipedrive workspace.

Log in to Pipedrive

Go to your Pipedrive account and sign in. If you are a new user, complete the registration flow: add your company details, select your industry, and click Start using Pipedrive to reach the dashboard.

Open Personal Preferences

Click the arrow icon or your username/profile picture in the top-right corner of the Pipedrive dashboard. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

Go to the API tab

In the Settings sidebar, navigate to Personal Preferences. Click the API tab.

Copy your API Token

Your Personal API Token is displayed in this section. Click the Copy button next to the token to capture it to your clipboard.
Keep this token secure. Anyone with your API token can read and write data to your Pipedrive account. If you suspect it has been compromised, regenerate it from the same API tab in Pipedrive settings.

Step 2 — Configure the API Connection in Clodura.AI

Open CRM Integration settings

In Clodura.AI, go to Settings → CRM Integration. You will see a card for each supported CRM.

Open the Pipedrive Setting modal

Locate the Pipedrive card, which initially shows Disconnected status. Click the Setting button. The Pipedrive API Token modal appears.

Paste your API Token

Paste the Personal API Token you copied from Pipedrive into the API Token field.

Save and test the connection

Click Update (or Save and Test Connection). Clodura.AI verifies the token against Pipedrive’s API. Upon a successful connection, the modal closes and the Pipedrive card status updates to Connected.

Step 3 — Map Fields

Field mapping defines how Clodura.AI data fields align with Pipedrive’s people and organization properties. You configure two tabs: Company Fields (Pipedrive organizations) and Contact Fields (Pipedrive people). Click the Mapping button on the Pipedrive card to open the Field Mapping modal.

Contact Fields → Pipedrive People

Click Next to move to the Contact Fields tab. These fields populate Pipedrive person records:

Company Name, Name (First + Last), and Email are mandatory destination fields — you must map them before saving. No two Clodura.AI source fields may be mapped to the same Pipedrive destination field. Custom field mapping is not supported.
Modal navigation controls:
  • Next — move from Company Fields to Contact Fields.
  • Back — return to Company Fields.
  • Reset — restore all fields in the current tab to their defaults.
  • Save — save the mapping and close the modal.
  • Close — exit without saving.
After a successful save, Clodura.AI confirms the field mapping with a pop-up notification. Click Ok to dismiss it.

Step 4 — Enable the Integration

Return to the Pipedrive card in Settings → CRM Integration and switch the Enable toggle to ON to activate data exports. The card will now display:
  • Status TagConnected (green checkmark) or Disconnected.
  • Setting button — update your API token if needed.
  • Mapping button — adjust your field mapping at any time.
  • Enable Toggle — turn the integration on or off without losing your configuration.

Pushing Contacts to Pipedrive

Once the integration is enabled, the Export To CRM button becomes available in Clodura.AI’s People Search results.

Search for contacts

Run a people search in Clodura.AI and review the results grid.

Select contacts

Check the boxes next to one or more contacts you want to send to Pipedrive.

Click Export To CRM

Click Export To CRM. The Export To Pipedrive CRM modal appears, confirming how many contacts you have selected and noting that each contact’s company will also be added.

Assign an owner

Use the Assign To dropdown to select the Pipedrive user who will own the newly created person and organization records.

Confirm the export

Click Ok to start the transfer. Click Close to cancel.
You can also push companies and their contacts from the Companies module:

Select companies

In the Companies module, select the target organizations using the checkboxes.

Click Add/Update to Pipedrive

Click Add/Update to Pipedrive. A dropdown menu offers two options:
  • Preferred Contacts — sends only the key decision-maker contacts for each company, based on seniority-level preferences.
  • All Contacts — sends every contact associated with each selected company.
You can also click Show Contacts to preview the contacts linked to selected companies before exporting, or use the person icon on any company row to open that company’s contact list and export individual records directly.

Export Confirmation and Verification

After the export finishes, Clodura.AI notifies you through two channels:

In-App Notification

A notification appears inside Clodura.AI confirming the successful transfer.

Email Notification

An email confirmation is sent to your registered address once the records land in Pipedrive.
Log in to Pipedrive and check the People and Organizations modules to verify the newly added records. The records will reflect the field values defined in your mapping configuration.
Exporting the same contacts to Pipedrive more than once counts as a single download-credit usage in Clodura.AI. Use the Exclude Exported Contacts advanced filter before running additional exports to avoid sending the same records to Pipedrive again.
